Our client, an established Engineering and fabrication company in the oil and gas industry, is seeking for suitable candidates to join the team!
Job Responsibilities:
- Source and procure materials & services for projects and factory needs
- Negotiate with suppliers for the best price and terms for all purchase
- Ensure supplies are in compliance with specification and schedules
- Manage supplier performance expectations by reviewing their delivery performance
- Monitor and expedite to ensure items are delivered in a timely manner
- Work closely with relevant departments and update them on the procurement situation
- Prepare PO (purchase orders) based on specifications and requirements.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Business/ Supply Chain/ Logistics/ Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of relevant procurement/ purchasing experience; Candidates with experience in the manufacturing industry will be advantageous
- Proficient in MS Office
- Knowledge of ERP system will be advantageous
