Prepare remittances/cheques and journals for all payments.
Prepare journals for home allotment (to be allocated monthly).
Prepare audit confirmation requests from suppliers’ auditors.
Reconcile Statement of Accounts for suppliers.
Prepare corporate credit card payments and journal.
Prepare Credit Giro payments (including payment schedule) and journal.
Back up for AP staff.
Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned from time to time.
Minimum Diploma in Accountancy/ Finance or equivalent professional qualifications.
Proficient in MS Office
Prior relevant experience is advantageous

This position is responsible for all areas relating to the accounting and finance activities including managing and supervises the accounts and finance team to ensure that work is properly allocated (including load balancing) and completed in a timely and accurate manner. Together with maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate financial statements are produced.
PRIMARY ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payment, collection, AP and AR entries, inter-company entries and other transactions.
Monitors and analyses department workload to ensure the efficient utilisation of the financial team while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Ensure timely payment and collection and cash management.
Risk management, checking and establishing the proper techniques for discovering and preventing fraud.
Credit Risk Control, analysis and decisions on allowing credit to a customer.
Ensure an accurate and timely monthly and year end closing. Including producing management reporting and Head Office reporting.
Ensure proper submission of indirect tax returns.
Provide training to new and existing staff, coach and mentor them.
Make recommendations, drive the continual development of accounting policies and procedures and operational strategies including reviewing and the implementation of process and system changes.
Implement, update and maintain a Fixed Asset Register. And ensure timeliness and accuracy of accounting of Fixed Assets (capitalisation, disposal, verification and depreciation of fixed assets).
Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
Support General Manager with special projects and workflow process improvements.
Bachelor’s Degree, CA or ACCA in Accounting
Experience working in both Share Service and Freight Forwarding & Logistic company is preferred.
Strong interpersonal, supervisory, team player and customer service skills required.
Must be IT proficient and able to thrive in a fast -pace setting. Experience with SAP accounting system is a plus.
At least 10 years supervisory experience in the working capital (payment and collection)/ financial reporting/general ledger area/indirect tax MES.
Salary Range : Up to S$8,000

The Company is a leading US semiconductor equipment manufacturer, and currently is seeking an experienced candidate to join them as a Tax Manager (Transfer Pricing).
Lead and assist with strategic transfer pricing planning and implementation of tax strategies
Conduct regular internal review of Transfer Pricing policies in accordance with the latest BEPS / tax regulation developments
Manage operational Transfer Pricing processes related to intercompany transactions and forecasting for US GAAP accounting purposes
Collaborate with the corporate functions/ business units to manage transfer pricing projects and compliance activities, perform and review internal Transfer Pricing computation and adjustments
Review intercompany contracts and collaborate with business functions to ensure intercompany contracts are aligned with company strategy and minimize potential tax risks to the company
Prepare Transfer Pricing documentation such as CbCR, master files and local files, intercompany agreements both in-house and with external tax advisors
Partner with the various Business Units to provide pragmatic solutions to commercial arrangements
Provide assistance with Transfer Pricing aspects of tax authority queries or formal audits to local teams
Identify and communicate opportunities for cost savings, simplification, and risk minimization
This role reports to the Global head of Tax.
Degree and/or post-graduate qualification in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business or equivalent
Possess at 6 – 8 years of tax and transfer pricing experience in public accounting or MNC industry experience
Possess experience with the operational aspects of the global transfer pricing function of the organization (tax provision forecasting, monitoring the accuracy of transfer pricing transactions booked in US GAAP books, setting of intercompany sales pricing, etc.)
Strong technical knowledge of transfer pricing regulations and methodologies
Working knowledge of US GAAP tax accounting and FIN48 is preferred
Salary range: up to $9500 (offered salary commensurate with experience)
