Our client, a Japanese MNC in the Marine and Shipmanagement industry, is currently seeking an experienced candidate to join as an Executive (Crew Management).
Job Responsibilities:
- Facilitate approval/acceptance of proposed Rating excluding Petty Officer from manning offices
- Verify and check invoices and disbursements excluding travel invoice
- Perform Japanese Seafarer’s related task if allocated
- Coordinate with Vessels and Manning agents on crew relief plan. Prepare and update 90 days planner
- Verify sea personnel candidates’ qualification and documents based on company/owner’s standard recruitment criteria
- Ensures all crew joining and sailing the ships are complying with the training and certification under STCW Convention, 1978, as amended and with the Flag State statutory requirements.
- Liaise with Manning agents on Flag State documentation requirements
- Monitor the validity of documents and licenses of officers and crew by using STCW monitoring sheet sent from vessel
- Coordinate with Vessels, Manning agents and Crew handling agents on crew change activities
- Inform and obtain approval of candidate from owner if required
- Update and maintained crew list and sea staff records
- Update crew matrix for tanker vessel
- Coordinates officer’s briefings, either through the video/audio-link system or personal briefing in Singapore and owner’s and charterer’s office
- Verify various invoice from port agent and SGA (Statement of General Expense)
- Arrange CTM
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned from time to time
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma or equivalent professional qualifications
- Proficient in MS Office
- Preferably possess at least 3 years of relevant working experience
- Marine crew who wishes to work inland are welcome to apply
