A Japanese Based conglomerate with business spanning across manufacturing, healthcare and business IT solutions is seeking for an experienced accounting candidate to join the team!

Job Responsibilities:

• Handles full spectrum of accounts payable. e.g. AP invoices verification, processing payment and payment authorisation, reconciliation of AP ledgers, transaction validation etc.
• Perform various closing transactions each month and prepare monthly/quarterly HQ reports.
• Perform vendors’ Statement of Accounts reconciliation, inter-company balance, maintenance of master file for customers’ creation
• Prepare tax-related work, including processing withholding tax payments to IRAS and assigning GST codes to invoices
• Verify employees’ claims with supporting documents and ensure GST treatment aligns with the reimbursement policy
• Ensure timely posting and processing of all AP-related vendor invoices and arrange payments within due dates
• Prepare and check incoming GST permits for reconciliation
• Prepare external/internal audit schedules monthly and yearly as required by regulations.
• Any other tasks as may be assigned by the superior within reason.

 Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma/ Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
• At least 2 years of Accounts Payable experience. Supervisory experience will be advantageous
• Proficient in SAP FICO module and Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint presentation).
• Good working knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards & Singapore Tax Regulations.
• Possess strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
